Default TeraFlex 4" LCG Elite Long Arm Kit (2-door)

Hey guys. I could really use your feedback with this one. I'm looking to run 35's on a 2-door 6-speed Sahara (soft top) with the TeraFlex 4" LCG Elite Long Arm Kit (2-door) kit.

http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...rod=TF-1257402

I'm prepared to make all the necessary corrections that come along with this high of a lift (i.e. driveshafts, re-gearing, etc.) It's my DD, and 85% of my driving will be on-road (including highway), so I need something that will keep my on-road manners / performance intact, but give me with the security to tackle some moderate offroad nastiness. Also, between bumpers, winch, skid plates, and rocker guards, I've got at least 350 lbs. of weight ("sag") to think about with regards to ACTUAL lift versus ADVERTISED lift. I'm wondering exactly how much height I'll actually net. After it's all said and done, I'm looking to net a good, solid 4". No less. I want something with enough height that won't rub at full-flex, but won't look goofy with 35's... ?? Is THIS the kit for me? Any experience / pictures you could send my way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. Be safe, and I hope to see you out there.

Teraflex Makes great stuff! Also if they call it 4in then it's going to be at lest 4in. It maybe 4.25-4.5, but it will not be under 4in.

Thanks, Crawler. I know TeraFlex has a tendency to run high, but I just don't know exactly how much "actual" lift I'll net with the 4" LA kit on a 2-door. I don't wanna sit "too high" for 35's" and look silly, if that makes sense.

I'm running a Teraflex 2.5in BB and it is really a 3in. That's why I I'm guessing the 4in LGC is going to 4.5. I going to be putting 35in KM2's on soon, and I have been looking at putting that same Teraflex LGC on once I have the $$$, I really like Teraflex, but you might want to look at EVO as well. They do great work as well.

I wonder if I'd be better off going with the 3" LA kit...??

I know for the JKU (4 door) Both the 3in Teraflex and 3in EVO kits clear 35's just fine, and still leave you room to flex. I would think that it would be the same for the JK (2 door)

Jim of Outlaw Jeep tours down in Moab runs the 4in TeraFlex LCG that your looking at with 35's on his JKU, and it's looks good.

Both 3in and 4in will look good it's really more about much flex you want to have. If you go with the 4in you'll have more flex, and with the TeraFlex LCG and the EVO kits you keep your center of gravity low, and that help you stay more stable. That's why they call it LCG (Low Center of Gravity)

35s will work on as little as a TeraFlex 2.5 inch lift. With the new 2 door springs they have the heights listed are more true on the 2 doors. Just to give you a bit of comparison, I have a 2.5 long arm lift with bumpers and full skid plate armor and they say I can easily clear 35s. (TeraFlex is local to me and did my lift.) I'm going to do 33s though. Here's a pic of mine with the stock 32s so you can get an idea of what the 2 door 2.5 lifts looks like. If it weren't for my short legs I would have gone for the 3 inch.

I'm actually ordering the 4" LCG this week if all goes as planned for my 4-door rubi. I've researched pretty extensively and in my opinon the 4" looks best with 37"s, at least on the 4-doors. I would think you would be better off with the 3" if going with 35"s. This is only my opinion, and is not factual as I do not yet own nor have seen the TF 4" LCG in person with either 35"s or 37"s, only in photos.

A 4" kit will lift the front 5.25", the 3" will lift the front 4.25". Now if your order a 4dr kit, you can get 1"+.
