Default Teraflex 2.5 in Spring and Shock lift...

As the life of my stock tires on my Jeep are finally coming to an end, I am about to pull the trigger on wheels, tires, and lift. I am looking at the Teraflex 2.5 in Spring and Shock lift with adjustable trackbars and front lower control arms. My question is how capable is this lift? While my Jeep is my DD and I do drive it a lot; I also want to be able to tackle tough trails on the weekends.

If anyone has any experience with this lift and can chime in and maybe post some pictures of the lift in action, it would be greatly appreciated.

as discussed earlier. the rear adjustable trackbar isn't needed.

look into getting the front lower control arms for caster and rear uppers for some pinion angle adjustments.

that lift will def take you more places you are willing to go. especially if your just now upgrading the tires and modding the jK.

Not certain what you mean by "shock lift". Anyway, I have the TF shocks (not the shock extenders), so perhaps that's what you mean. David at Northridge also recommended I replace the front and rear track bars, which I did, and I already had the TF front LCAs, so it sounds like I'm running something close to what you are considering. I like it a lot. Of course, "tough trails" is relative. This won't run as tough a trail as a bigger lift and bigger tires. But, it does some pretty tough stuff. Here are a few pic's in my current configuration (see signature) ...

Thanks for the info guys. Those are the type of pics I want to see.

I meant the Teraflex 2.5 coil / shock lift with front lower control arms. I have a habit of calling coils springs. Haha!

Would there be any reason to get any other control arms besides the front lower?

The front lowers will allow you to adjust the caster on your Unlimited. That should fix you up quite nicely for something akin to that stock steering feel. You shouldn't need any other control arms (and, in fact, some don't even fit correctly with just a 2.5" lift).
