Use: DD plus weekend trails.

Thanks!!!!!!
The 1" spacer would be beneficial if you want to:

- reduce the rake (i.e. the front sitting lower than the back)
- add a bumper and/or winch later (my front end went down 3/4" when I added mine)

Also, since they will have the springs out anyway, the spacer install should be a nominal cost (I would ask them to install it for the price of the part, which they will likely do)

As for the shocks, check this out. It should answer your questions.

I would add an adjustable trackbar to you upgrade. The lift will shift the body on the fram about a 1/2 ". The adj tb will re-center it.

If it doesn't come with an adjustable front track bar, you'll want to do that soon, as well as a rear track bar relocation bracket/adjustable rear track bar. I believe the TF kits usually come with bumpstops, so you should be fine there. You may want to consider extended brake lines, too. The TF kit may come with a relocation bracket for them, but longer ones will be better in the long run. You can usually get a set of Crowns in just about any color you want for $110-$120/set.

And yes, Bilstein shocks are worth a little extra coin.
That sounds like a lot of $$$

What are the draw backs of not installing this?

I've been reading the forums here and I think I have enough info to move forward.
I want to make sure everything I'm buying is going to be right and not overlook anything.

Here's my list:
1. Putting Nitto Trail Grapplers 35/12.5/18's on my stock 18 rims (+spare)
2. Spidertrax 1.5 spacers.
3. Teraflex 2.5" suspension lift (with coils and shocks)
4. Rugged Ridge spare tire mount bracket.

Is there anything I'm missing here? I've heard some add a 1" spacer upfront, will I need that to be level? Stock bumbers at the moment, but will be getting one and winch down the road.
Also, I may go with the bilstein shocks kit I saw posted here on the forums. Is it worth the extra $$$?

yea if your like me and want a level jeep and you plan on a winch and bumper down the road then you want a spacer up front to level it out....i went with the 3/4 skyjacker puck...daystar or any of the others are fine and cheap

You don't have to for a small lift. I haven't upgraded mine yet but it is on the list. You can replace it later on.

Your front axle will shift roughly 3/4" to 1" to the passenger side with the 2.5" lift. It is noticeable. The front track bar will re-center the axle. Your rear axle will shift towards the drivers side, but the trackbar bracket should re-center that.

You may also want to consider adding some front lower control arms. They will assist in correcting your castor properly and will take out the flighty feeling out of the steering.

One other thing. Don't forget to consider an additional option for side steps, especially if you have others riding daily. My stock tube step was too high after the lift, and I could not find a suitable substitute, so ended up investing in Amp Research Power Steps. They are awesome, but expensive. Just something to think about, as I did not.

No cheap way out of a proper lift. There are a few things I haven't mentioned that can wait, but would be good to have.

Should I get the adjustable or non-adjustable front track bar?
Theres a difference in pricing. Would I need to adjust it at some point?
