#11
I just installed the TF 2.5 coil & shock lift kit and love it. super nice stance with 35"s.. real nice quality kit, easy to install. Once I get pics I'll post up a review.

has anyone tried the 2.5 coil lift with rubi shocks with shocks extension?
If so how do you find the ride? would it just be worth it to get the coil and shock kit instead?

if I were to do it over, I'd probably go with the extensions and buy Bilsteins (sp?) down the road. the benefit of the teraflex shocks is that they're engineered to give you ideal flex for that size lift. I read a number of reviews where people were more than happy with Rubi shocks.

Are the Teraflex coils similar or maybe a little firmer than the stock Rubi coils? I pull a travel trailer and with the stock Rubi coils my trailer drops the rear of the Jeep down to almost perfectly level when pulling. I don't want to start sagging in the back when I lift it.

Well it looks like the Jury is back in with a verdict, and it is to buy the Tera/Bilstein 2.5" Coil Spring Lift.!!!!
For the Quality and the Price you are just have to buy one thing, install it, and never have to worry about changing any thing again.
This price can not last for ever, and we are down to our last few kits in our stock. I am sure that when ORW get the next shipment from Teraflex and Bilstein my manager will raise the price.
Before you invest in something that you will have to replace eventually, seriously consider purchasing this suspension kit at this low low price.
I have one sitting on my desk waiting to ship to your location.

I spoke to a fella at TF today about the 2.5" lift options (12 JKU Rubi). He said the coils are a bit stiffer, it does still have a bit of rake on the front (can add .5" spacers to adjust) that may put the front just a hair over level but will allow accomodation of more weight up front and not have much or any sag. Since mine is new, he also recommended just get the shock adapters and upgrade later if desired. I asked about allowing for full front end alignment capability and he suggested a front track bar and lower control arms to round things out as a good starter coil kit...# 1352000
