Default Teraflex 2.5" Coil lift..question about the instructions???

I'm a bit confused with the instructions with the kit, if I'm using Bilstein 5100 shocks then I don't need to use the provided template to drill the hole right?? I'm guessing thats if you have the kit with the shock extensions, right??

No. You still need to drill the hole. If you had a new adj. rear trac bar then you would not need to.

YOU NEED TO DRILL.

Oh man!! Last minute run to get the 3/8" bit for tomorrows install...thanks ER NURSE

The instructions made it sound like if I "had " shocks (not just extensions) I could skip those steps...my bad.

You'll only need to drill if you don't have the Axle mounted bracket.

Just a word of caution I used the template and it was way off when I drilled my hole. I would double check before you drill.

This! They come with two different style brackets! Most likely you have the axel mounted bracket since you purchased the kit without the shock extensions.

If you got it without shock extensions then you don't need to drill anything.

look at the bracket. if it has u bolts then it's for the axle and you don't need to drill. if it looks like the template, then you need to drill.
