Default TeraFlex 2.5 coil lift with Bilstein shocks

I was wondering if anyone is running this combination or had any thoughts on how these shocks would be compared to the Tera's. Since the Tera's are not available and the Bilsteins are on sale.

thanks, Bob

I'm not sure how they compare, but I don't see very many complaints about either. Another option might be OME shocks, but not sure how the price fits in comparison.

I used the OME LT shocks on my teraflex 3" kit and they do a great job. I have not had teraflex or billsteins on my rig, so I don't know how they would compare though. I have never heard anyone saying the Billsteins did not preform up to par. Haven't seen anyone blasting the tera shocks either. I bet either of the 2 would be fine.

Thanks for the comments, I think I will go with the Bilstein 5100's which are buy 3 get the 4th free which makes the kit about the same price as the kit with their own shocks. I just got my 4-door about a week ago and I am ready to lift it.

The bilsteins are great, I still have them in the frt, but..... I had to take the rears off till I relocate the lower shock mounts up 2in. The rear is a bilstein 26in extended shock, they don't make a 28in ,only a 30in, so.... I temporarely put some rancho 5000's in the rear. They actually ride better than the bilsteins I took off. Reason I took the bilsteins off is that I added a 1 3/4in spacer to the rear and rancho made a 28in extended shock. They're only 40 bucks each. Don't no long term use though, but the ride is good. I got em from O'Reilly's auto at that price.
