Rake is the difference in height from the back to front. The Jeep comes from the factory with the front sitting a little lower than the rear. A lot of the kits take this into account and will provide a little more lift in the front than the rear to 'level' the Jeep out.

Can you guys running the TF 2.5" setup post some pics please

I'm also contemplating the TF 2.5 coil lift w/shocks then a 1" body lift. No other parts needed for this coil lift, right?

So you got exactly what they advertise? Go figure...

The 2.5” lift kit is an ultra simple lift kit designed for the serious no-frills four wheeling reminiscent of the old days. Build up the legend and go for a drive!
Lifts 3" in the front and 2" in the rear to compensate for the factory rake.
Props to TF for giving us a clue as to what the 'actual' lift heights will be !!

Yes, but why did I only get 2" in the rear? weird. I measured in my garage (good floor) and with same amount of stuff and gas in the Jeep.

I am running the RE BB that the dealer installed right now and saw that Qtec has 2.5 coils now. Qtec sells them as a front pair or a rear pair. If I was to install just the front coils would I have to get longer sway bar links? I am trying to get the rake out of the JK.
