You will be glad you went with the coils. I too debated back and forth between the coils and the BB. I talked to Joe (Teraflex) and David (Northridge) and they explained the benefits to me. I am very happy with my coil lift.

I'm also in same boat. Joe suggested 2.5" coil kit (#1352000). I'll likely go that route.

Why is it the 2.5" coils give you 3"?

TF kits give more lift because they take into consideration that most jeepers install heavier bumpers and a winch, etc.

Does the RC lift give you the same (about 3") or are they different?

I think the Rc kit lifts as advertised and maintains factory rake
