Default Tera Flex 2.5" suspension lift and rear adjustable track bar...

Looking around on the teraflex site and came across this...

"The rear adjustable trackbar is required on lifts of 2.5” or more. The trackbar is designed to be used in conjunction with a trackbar bracket and helps to restore the trackbar to a natural position to keep the rear axle correctly centered under the vehicle. The trackbar bracket is designed to withstand the added abuse when used in extreme off road situations."

It has been asked numerous times on this site if you needed to get anything other than the actual lift kit. Everything I have seen said nothing aside from exhaust spacers. Anyone from teraflex care to fill me in? Anyone that is currently running a 2.5" teraflex lift that had to get a new rear trackbar for their lift to work properly? I got my lift from UPS yesterday and was planning on getting it put on next week and would like to not have any surprises.

your kit should have come with a bracket which is good enough. I'm running the kit with oem trackbars. my front is off, maybe 1/4-1/2" tops and the back is pretty centered. you're good to go.

Default Teraflex 2 1/2

I did my lift myself......after putting everything back together.....the drag link did not have to be adjusted at all......the track bars both went right into their respective new resting places with little effort.....(my wife pushing on the body of the Jeep while I was under it putting the bolts in). My kit came with the big honkin' rear track bar relocation bracket....it worked awesome. I also checked my alignment and nothing was thrown off.....I was amazed.

The biggest issue was loosening the LCA's and UCA's....they were way tighter than the torque specs called for.

I have the same lift. The rear track bar bracket is all you need. I do recommend an adjustable front track bar though. I did both at the same time. Did it all on a lift by myself, its easy.

If you feel flightiness, front lower control arms will help with that. The LCAs will help you adjust your castor to eliminate that flighty feeling. Adjustable track bars are used to center the axles...

Flight feels like jeep is all over the road. Example: switching lanes on highway an feeling like ur jeep was shoved into the lane.
