you could probably get away with just leaving that one brake line disconnected until you get a replacement part. The bottom parts are metal so the line will not really shift around too much.

 

Ditto, started my install tonight first problem, all the washers sent with the kit were too small for the bolts included with the factory shock extensions.....i knew i should have ordered the new shocks... easy fix, trip 1 to the hardware store.

By the way you DO need a spring compressor.

Problem 2 my kit is missing the passenger side brake extension, bought a piece of metal and i will drill a couple of holes and fab one up tomorrow. (until tera sends me a replacement.

Hopefully the front will go better tomorrow.

why did you need a spring compressor?? I didn't. did you undo the emergency brake lines from the little brackets above the axle (underside of the rear cargo area) and pop out the ABS line retainers so your axle can droop all the way? and disconnect your sway bar?

oh and something that got me confused at first, but the front shock extension, flip the washers around, so the stock top one goes on the bottom and vise versa on the extensions, because the washer with a larger hole should slide over the top part of the extension. hope that helps!

 

Thanks, your right, after i had done one side it occurred to me to drop the sway bar disco, and then it basically slipped right in.

I did NOT catch the part about switching around the washer on the front and reinstalled them the way they came off....is that going to be a problem??

Also, putting in the front bump stops was a pain in the a$$ i ended using a 2 by 4 for leverage to get those things to seat.....

But hey the job is done....looks great....of course now i wish i would have waited and put on 35's instead of the 33's....

wow ..that looks awesome....i knew about the sway bar and the washer issues though..that was documented before

 

looks good, but I would swap those washers around when you have time, b/c it seems to fit in better and be less stress on the adapter with the bigger hole on the bottom, so it makes the adapter slide up a little more. but probably not gonna hurt anything to leave it for a little while, but I would swap as soon as you have time. Good job getting it done!
