tallest tire without lift
Not sure where to put the thread? I know there's a few threads talking about this. I want to know what is the tallest and fattest tire I can put on the JK without back spacers? I'll be putting on or making flat fenders and getting sway bar disconnects. I have the stock rims I'd like to keep. There 16x7 with the 5x5 bolt pattern. Looking for a radial mud tire. It's time to start having real for but it's my daily driver. I'm just sick of those damp225/75r16. I still have fun with them but I want to throw more mud in the air. I been looking at so many tire sites I'm going blind. Maybe you guys and gals can help? Any info would be great thanksme.

Somewhere on this forum I saw a picture of a JK with Zenon flat fenders and 36 inch tires. Claims no rubbing or clearance issues (hard to beleive) and the lower Center of Gravity was a good look.
I too want to go as wide as possible, and taller too - without a lift. I'm pretty sure it will involve the sawzall and some Zenon's. Maybe AEV will make a "JK Highline" kit like they did for the TJ?

Not bumpstops, turnstops. Keeps the wheels from going full lock. Gains clearance, loses turning radius. Yet, I have yet to notice a difference.
The driveway shot was on stock suspension. The flexing was on 1.75" front spacer and stock rear. No rubbing, 1-2" of clearance all around WITH swaybars disconnected.
Now, 1.75" front spacer and 3/4" rear spacer, just to play it safe when the rear has some cargo.
