Default Tallest Floor Jack

So the tallest one I can find so far is a 20" and I can't help but think that with 35" tires I will need a jack with a little more lift. Can anyone give me, by name, a good floor jack with extended height? I am assuming 3+ ton.

thanks,

20"-21" is standard as far as 3-ton jacks go and really, it'll be more than enough. hell, it's what i use on my big white JK running 40" toyo's. for the most part, you will just be doing all your lifting from the axles and setting your frame rails on jack stands anyway and they are low enough for a jack like this to work just fine.

Awesome, thanks guys. Picking up the 3 ton and a 1/2 torque wrench on the way home today. No more paying other people to rotate my tires.

Harbor Freight in Woodbridge sells one that goes up to 24". I have it and haven't had any problems.

If you need more lift than the jack supplies, put a 4x4 block of wood (or two) between the jack and the jeep.

I use the 6 Ton Jacks from Harbor Freight and they go about 23" though I don't think I'd ever use them, that high.

Only problem with rotating your own tires is if the balance is off. I did it myself recently and I get a slight shimmy in the front end now since I think they aren't balanced. Just one thing to think about.
