Default Which is taller, TF 2.5 or RK 2.5?

Out of the 2 spring lifts which one gives the tallest clearance? Or are they exactly equal?

From what I've read, the RK will give you about 1" more. At least with the front, I've read TF gives about 3" for a 2.5" lift, RK will usually give 4".

However, I have heard that the TF is of higher quality. Plus once you start to hit 4 inches, thats when you need to start modifying other things in order to avoid breaking parts.

I have the RK 2.5" and probably got 3" total lift. The RK springs are a little longer then the Teraflex springs. The only things you really need are longer bumpstops and brake line relocation brackets or longer brake lines.

Go with the Rock Krawler. Great ride, incredible service and warranty and upgradable to any of there other kits. High quality. I have a 3.5" and got just a little over 4". I had an 08 two door and put a Teraflex kit on it and hated the ride, the RK kit I have now rides close to stock. My 2 cents after having both.

Both of these lifts will give different results based on vehicle, 2 vs 4 door, and added accessories. Also keep in mind these kits are different as in progressive springs vs linear so they could / should react differently to weight. As far as quality they are both good.

3.1" front 2.1" rear on a stock jk. Install a 4dr kit on 2dr for an extra 1/2"-3/4" of height.

I read a thread where someone switched from Teraflex to RK springs (originally an all Teraflex lift) because RK makes progressive rate. Said the RK are beefier, provide a better ride, about 1" longer than the Teraflex.

Both are great kits though, you really can't go wrong with either.

They are both high quality I have the RK 2.5 max travel and I have a few buddies that have the Teraflex 2.5 the RK is taller and softer.

The flex on the RK 2.5 is crazy!

Doesn't the RK lifts tend to squat in the rear or have a reverse rake?
