I too [when I get the jk] would like to go 37's but want to keep the lift small. I get alot of off camber angles. Has any one figured out the minimum lift to fit 37's w/ tube fenders?
Yeah im a toyota guy...for now (sarcasm) but I want to get a jeep and build it once..once Johhny.

Well 35's will deff cure the itch but then you look at some of the rides on here that have 37's.....Kntr..is one member that has a real nice set-up with a 4" lift. I have the same lift and the 35's with that whimpy 3.8L.....I dunno if I'd go up to 37's without some major performance upgrades. Re-gearing is a 'must' with the 35's, at least in my case. I have 3.73's and an automatic.

But hey, it's only money, and these JK's are money magnets

get 35's this time while the bank owns it- and by the time you wear them out and need to upgrade...the long arms will be readily available (driveshafts-coilovers) and you can do it right. in the mean time, you can upgrade with tube fenders, atlas4 and arb lockers - the time will pass quickly and tires will be the cheapest upgrade on your list.

You feel my pain.

I have willfully gone over to the dark side and bought the 37" KM2's.

And it feels good to have done so. Now I know I will build what I have wanted, and not have to keep thinking "what if,...?"

If you need talkin out of it, you might as well do it. You won't be satisfied with less than 37's

But if you go with 37's, you will always wonder about 40's... It never ends

So if anyone still contemplates going to the 37's vs something smaller,...

GO BIG!!!

26K miles and loving the F out of my JK. Riding on the FT 6" LA kit now, and truly enjoying it.

I highly recommend it!!!

Well now that you have done the right thing, go to the front of your JK open the hood and take a long hard look at the anemic 3.8L that is going to huff and puff every time you plowing through mud, climbing a rock and *trying* to pass someone on the highway
