The very knowledgeable techs at 4wheel parts told me it was to counteract the crown in the middle of every road. That was just before they moved my caster from 6 down to 4, and told me that it now drove much better...

Would 6 be too much? Running stock driveshafts.

That's the question I'm still trying to figure out. Pretty much every post I've seen indicates the 6-7 range is where you want to be after the lift. (using an angle finder, as per the 'setting your caster' section of the DIY alignment write-up) So I got to thinking about comparing those numbers to the ones from an alignment machine, and maybe I could start figuring out how the gentleman from Terflex is running at 3.
- mine drove like crap with caster at 4, and handles great at 6.

I am running 5* on my 3". Works pretty nice.

Have just checked my Caster
on a 2dr. 2.5" terraflex coil lift and stock rubi tyres

Passenger side = 6
Drivers side = 0 ?

what effect will this have and do i need new control arms to change this. i sometimes get a kick on rough roads (pot holes)

How are you measuring this? Do you have adjustable front control arms?

Remember castor angle can not accurately be measured with an angle finder--Redneckjeep can explain this better than I can.

Is this 5 per angle finder or 5 per alignment machine.
