Default Taillight Issues!

Alright guys and gals, I have a troubleshooting question... The running lights on my Jeep work fine, but when I flip on the right blinker, it refuses to blink. The brake light just sits there at its usual low capacity. What could be the issue? I haven't had time to pull the light off and inspect all of that. Is it just the bulb? Is the whole light itself just shot? What? Any and all help is appreciated!

I had this same issue a couple months back, right turn signal too. I would get no indication on the dash and no blinking light, left worked fine. After about a week it magically decided to work again and haven't had an issue since. The gremlins weren't happy or something I guess.

It gives the "I'm messed up, please check me" insane-o double click when I flip it on, so the Jeep knows something is up.

Sounds like the bulb. It has two filaments, one for run light, one for turn / brake light. One of these might have broke or burned out.

If the indicator light on the dash board flashes faster than normal it would be a bulb, other wise it sounds like it could be a Gremlin issue.
