Default Tailgate to spare wheel buffers

When fitting after market wheels with a different offset, the spare tyre no longer contacts the tailgate buffers. Does anyone sell longer buffers or some means of extending them to prevent the spare from excessive wobble?

Daystar sells longer ones you can trim to fit. Not to expensive either.

Daystar is probably the best answer, but before they were available, some of us took pieces of radiator hose and snugged them right over the top of the existing bumpstops:
