Is it snug up to the bumps on the tailgate? If not get a set of these and it might help. Should be able to get them on amazon.

Don't carry your tire, carry air and a patch kit until you can afford a carrier.

Idk if those will work i look in my mirror to see what it's doing and i can see the tire just wiggle I'm pretty sure it's the mount and or the tailgate hinges

You're saying you can see the wheel/tire wiggle when hitting bumps? Are the lug nuts tight? Check to see if the mount is cracked.

Take the wheel off the back and tie it down in the cargo area. I'd rather have a spare than a patch- kit.

This. Not only do they crack but the spot welds on the tailgate fail easily

If it is your hinges, you can replace them with stronger, greaseable units. Be sure to check what everyone else is saying. Make sure your tire is tight against the rubber stops.

That's interesting......I wonder if they provide any benefits. I've replaced a couple sets of hinges due to a lack of grease but it took a long time for the corrosion to build up to the point where they needed to be replaced.

What does suck about that is they won't be easy to grease without a 90* elbow on your grease gun and a narrow nipple.
