I got the smittybilt one as well and am very pleased. Been meaning to get a couple more smaller pouches for it.

I'm happy with the Smittybilt tailgate. Heaps of variations depending on your needs.

The table will still install with riv-nuts, but we are looking at providing a template that will make marking the drill points easier.

Can someone with the Ebay version from Alanjk427 tell me how wide the tray is? I'm trying to find out how large (or small) of an axe will fit on it. I should have the tailgate table by the middle of next week.

Thanks!

I had the Smitty on my tj. It was OK.
I got the molle kit from alanjk427, I had to move packs off the table as they pulled out from the tailgate. I replaced the screws with stainless and used lock tight.
I move the molle packs to the fender panels and store all axes, picks, machetes etc between the wheel wells and the racks.
I carry a full size pick axe with the handle off a molle folding shovel and a small regular camp shovel.
Only that shovel and the axe handle won't fit in the racks.
I never installed the door panels.jj

Thanks for that. My eBay tailgate is on its way. I'll look to upgrading the mounting hardware.

All Done. There was no real instructions so learned that it has to go over more towards the right about 1-1.5" or else you hit the Hinge support/bracket and can't secure the lower left corner (but solid without it).

Very nice! Which Fiskar is that? Also, did you just have to use the classic quickfists?

We have a rear rack setup and we are working on a tail gate table now. Also we are working on window boxes for more storage.

We are working on ways to clean up the back of the JK 2 door and 4 door, so your stuff does not move a round.
