Default Tailgate Edge Protector

I am looking to add a protective edge for my tailgate. When I left the gym last night I swung the gate a bit to hard and it went right into the concrete wall behind me. Not too hard but enough to put a small ding in the edge of the tailgate. I have searched sponsors and threads and have not found protective edging anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas if such a product is made?

Thanks.

Any autparts store or probably even wallyworld would have that cheap rolled up plastic u-groove edge moulding that you just press on the edge. If that is what you are talking about.

That would work for sure. I was hoping for something wider that would match paint guards, what I picture would be two inches in width.

On a side note: That is the second time I have seen Wallyworld mentioned here. Is there really such a place? I honestly thought it was only an amusement park in Chevy Chase movies LOL.

it is a sarcastic and less than enthusiastic term used to describe Wal-Mart. *L*
i know alot of people who have worked there, some in management. all but one say it sucks. I personally hate the place and only go there if i am dragged there.

I dont know of anything 2" in width. Hopefully someone else will chime in and have a suggestion.
