T-Case question

T-Case question
So, mechanically I'm not well versed when it comes to transmissions and T-cases, and have a question.
What is the difference between the Rock-Trac T-Case that comes in the Rubi, vs. the T-Case that comes in the Sahara and X. (Aside from the 4:1 low range gearing) The descriptions I read say "HEAVY DUTY INTERNALS" and to me that is greek. What internals, and what does 'heavy duty' get you vs. what you get with the X and Sahara T-Case.
In addition to that, what does it matter anyways? I've never heard of anyone busting up a T-Case before something else in the driveline gives out. (Unless the rest of the driveline is heavily modded)
A little education from the more T-Case savvy people out there would be much appreciated.
Oh, and by the way, this is NOT meant to be the start of another Rubi vs. Other and who is better, blah blah blah thread.

Both are heavy duty NV241 t-cases (upgraded versions of older NP/NV231) but the "Rock Trac" in the Rubicon has the 4.1 low gear while the unit in the Sahara and X has a 2.72 low gear ratio. I know the Rubicon's Rock Trac also has a fixed rear yoke. I'm not sure if the other t-case has a fixed rear yoke or a slip yoke.
To upgrade a t-case from a 2.72 to a 4.1 ratio would cost almost a $1K for parts alone. Adding the fixed yoke (if not included on the base t-case) adds another few hundred.

The sun gear and planetary in the rock trac is stronger as well. IT's actually rated higher than the 3/4 ton truck version, which is why the cost for part's is so high. Kinda suck's, because I don't need 4:1 low range, but would like the strength.

Rock Trac
It has 32 Spline front and rear output, a special planetary gear set, a High volume oil pump, fixed yoke, 4:1 gear set, a stronger chain. I read it's tougher than some old 1 ton trucks and an upgrade for some current 1/2 tons. It's specifically rated stronger than the NP241HD of old. It would be cheaper to just buy the Rock Trac than to try to build one up.
When I first drove the 4:1 was a surprise. It's great for going down steep angles with out braking (braking isn't always advisable) Now I love it. With all the talk of how weak the 3.8 is I can almost idle up a lot of obstacles. (Well, maybe a bit of gas)

NV
Just going off of what NV (New Venture) says. They offer the Rock Trac (NVG241OR) for purchase now. It's the new Hotness, not just for Jeeps. You can get a gear swap for most transfer cases, that just gives you the lower gearing.

Now my brain is thinking, wondering if I can get the goodies without the low range I don't need... I'm gonna have to get some diagrams or blueprint's. I have a few contacts at Jeep maybe they will hook me up
