Default switches for heated seats and power

hello i am try to find out if i buy the 5 gang switch will the heated set switches be able to work it if i install the pads and will it also work the power inverter if i install that also i have a 2016 freedom edition unlimited thank you

check with dealer. I don't believe your new switch (if you could find one) would even have power. It all go through the computer now.

Yup! The heated seat switch sends a message over the LIN bus.

If that were possible, you would have to install the wire that goes from the switch to the heated seat module, if you have one. Then you would need to run wires from the heated seat module to the heated seat elements.

Are you thinking of installing OEM heated seats? Or are you wanting to control aftermarket heated seats with the OEM switch?

To be honest I would just like to use the buttons don't care if it's oem pads

You may have to install regular switches. The OEM switches are designed to send a signal over the LIN Bus. Probably not suitable to make and break a circuit.

Experiment with it to see if the switch can control a relay. If it can, you should be able to do what you want.
