Cool idea. We're you able to get them snug with the couple washers? Did they rattle or have any negatives? Why didn't you put pins at both ends so you didn't have to tuck it away?

You can just barely hear them jingle over big bumps but nothing that bothers me. There is maybe 1/16-1/32" of play on one side but I've had no issues. Got like 6-8 pins from tractor supply for $2 and just replace those every couple months or so to keep them tight from taking it on and off. Bottom was enough for me, you would still have to tie the sway bar itself up

The pins always bent. I picked all the hardware up from tractor supply as well. It was definitely a great idea, I just didn't want something that could potentially come lose on the highway.

Just installed a set of TeraFlex disco's today & they have a cool mount for when you disconnect to flex. It holds the sway bar link up to the frame on a pin.

I use RC's quick disco's. Very similar to TF's in that they come with a frame mount to pin the links up. The Rough Country disco's work really well, quiet, quick easy design, but the low quality heim joints and low grade rubber bushings wear/blow out pretty fast. I'm replacing my adj RC links for Synergy adj links and will be able to keep using the RC frame mounts.

And a glass of wine. That will loosen them up some more.

Those aren't disconnects. Looks stationary in the pic.

Try a NLGI 1 or 0 grease during winter instead of the NLGI 2 you are probably using.
