It can be if you flex your suspension. if the front axle drops enough your sway bar can flip and then it will bind up causing issues .

^^^ what he said... the shop should have removed the stock front end links and put the rear links on the front.
Then the end links that came with your lift kit get installed on the rear.
You could also use this as an excuse to get the teraflex quick disconnect kit
I just installed it on my jeep and it's really nice to be able to disconnect when off-roading
It's not that expensive, I think I paid about $100 or so

Short links with long shocks, add a little flexing, and you have yourself a great opportunity to get out and take pics. People on here have pretzel'd their links just sitting on a lift in the shop.
But yeah, you generally want the swaybars to remain roughly parallel to the ground.
