SUSPENSION: Sahara Unlimited VS Rubicon Unlimited
I just picked up the suspension to an Unlimited Rubicon, shocks, springs, control arms, sway bar links, and other misc parts. I have done some research on here and found that the springs on an unlimited with the hard top and tow pkg are the best. I have a Unlimited Sahara that came with the hard top and tow pkg. Is there any difference in the springs. I just picked it up tonight so I haven't been able to compare part numbers yet. I know that the shocks are better. I'm really looking for opinions. I am planning on adding a teraflex leveling kit after Santa makes his stop this year. I already have a set of 285/70/18's to go on the Jeep. What benefits would I have to switch the springs over if there is a difference? Any help would be appreciated!

Search for the spring thread on this forum. I think that if both the Sahara and Rubicon are Unlimiteds with tow packages then the only difference is the shocks, maybe sway bar diameter? And then it might only be the colour of the shock.

Run a search for coil spring part numbers. Someone demistified the difference between all the different coils and their part numbers.
I think the Sahara and the Rubi are almost identical in stock height. When I bought my JK there was a Rubi right next to it, exactly the same color and options, the only significant difference was the 6spd in the Rubi and they stood equally tall.
I doubt Jeep would design a different coil mount, so the only difference is probably spring rate which will stiffen up the ride and avoid bottoming out as easily.
