Suspension Recommendations
Guys, i have a jk 2007 4 doors. I'm looking for a good suspension. I'm planning to have 35" tires in a near future. I'm thinking in a 4 inch lift kit. It is hard the desicion based on several options like Teraflex, procomp, superlift etc... Can anyone share good info/advice. it would be helpful....I'm from Puerto rico and this sport is growing and very popular....

4 inches of lift is a ton for just 35s. You can roll easily with 2.5-3" and even less with a fender chop or flat fenders. Then 1"Body lift options would allow you to run up to 37s without getting into the mess of how much other stuff you need to swap out when you go beyond a 3" lift.

4" springs are a bit much for 35's. You may want to consider a 2.5-3" lift. If you plan on having 37's eventually, thena 4" lift may be better.
However, the higher you go, the more mods are required to keep things working properly. You get into drive shafts, steering, long arm's, etc.
So what are you ultimate goals and what is your budget?

A lot depends on if and how you drive your JK off road and your preference on looks.
A 4" lift is fine as long as you are willing and able to make other mods like driveshafts, drag link flip kit or longer Pitman arm, adjustable control arms, etc.
A 2.5" lift kit will preclude the need for some of these additional mods and still allow you to run 35s.
The Teraflex 2." and 4" kits are very popular it this forum for a reason. IMO, their products are superior to the two other brands you list.

Personally I'd keep it near your original thoughts. 4" is a good lift height for a 4dr. You can definetly fit 35's with less lift, but IMO the big con with the 4dr is the horrible breakover angle. Lift it high and get better angles!!!!
Between the brands you mentioned I'd go Teraflex, I run their S/T sway and love it...

I ran 4in Superlift with 35's for a long time. Their springs will give alot of lift initially, but they don't handle alot of extra weight over the long haul. They will bow and squish. Have 4in TeraFlex now on 37's, very good combo and they handle extra weight on the jk great. You might wanna go 3in TF if your running 35's though. It's gonna give in the 4-5in range depending on weight, 2dr/4dr, etc.

I am a fan of the OME lifts. I run the 2.5" with HD springs and 35's. No problems with tire clearance. The ride quality is great with no sagging after new front bumper and winch.
Most people will tell you the 2.5" OME will net over 3" lift with the HD springs.
Happy shopping !

I say a teraflex. 4 inch or go home. I am going to be running on 35x12.5x17 soon. I am about 50% finished installed a 4" long arm kit. new front & rear driveshafts & a leveling kit in the front end. You'll not be upset with the quality of the kit. It's a great lift kit man. But boy you better know ur stuff it's a complicated lift install so far. My first

Guys thanks for your advices. I have a friend who has a TJ with a procomp 4" inch. He has 33" cooper stt. The clearance between the tire and fender does not look bad the wheel does not look small. Based on this is why i was thinking in a 4" lift. Do you think that with a 4" is require driveshaft mods in a 4 doors jk. What else do i need.?

JK's don't need as much lift to fit bigger tires as previous models, so you can't really compare yours to your friends TJ.
I would suggest that you actually start in the FAQ's right at the top of this section. Here are just a few that may interest you...

Q: What is Caster? How much do I need?
Q: What gear ratio should I be running with 35" tires?
Q: Is there a good chart that I can refference to help me determine what gear ratio I should have installed based on the tire size I am running and the RPM's that I hope to be running?
