^^^Thats what I thought. I found a deal on 2.5" Bumpstops. That's why I made this thread to see if they were worth the purchase.
The lift I'm looking at is 2.5" but gives you more than 3" is what I'm told. They said you can clear 37's with minor trimming (already done).
Thanks for all the advice guys. About the shocks, how long do you have to drive off-road for reservoir shocks come into play? Or is it about how hard and fast you drive it off-road?

A res shock will give you a bit more down travel on the same size shock body, mb 1" depending on manufacturer. Other then that I highly doubt you will see any other benefit unless you run fast all day thru the desert. Most people buy them for the bling affect.

I have a 2.5" rk/tf lift with 1.25" body lift, bilsteins 5100's for a 4" lift up front, 2" rear, EVO rockstars, rear upper and lower+ front lower spring retainers, trimmed seams and fenders, tf 2.5" bumpstop in the rear and 1.75" bump in the front. 9" long rear sway bar links and 11" long front links(for e-disco). All 8 factory control arms, stock moabs with 1.5" spidertrax spacers and 37's

You do realize that lifting does almost nothing for increased articulation on a bolt on short arm. Whether you are running a leveling kit or 6" of lift you really gain nothing over in the flex department.

Thanks guys. The road we were on has a speed limit of 45 mph and it has whoops, dips, wash out so it was HORRIBLE. I had to slow down multiple times. We go out there quite a bit, so I'd like to have a better ride on that type of terrain. We don't have much rocks around here to crawl on and I hate cleaning mud so I try to avoid the big holes.
Is 45 considered fast enough for the speedbumps to do their job? or are we talking baja speeds?

I have 3" of up travel with just a hockey puck up front and your going to need it going 45.

There should be no noticeable difference in ride quality with a res shock vs a standard shock with the same valving, all the res does is add extra oil capacity to help keep them cooler under extreme conditions and will allow for a bit more down travel due to the dividing piston being in the res.

I think you are going to want as much up travel as you can get. I would cycle the suspension without the springs to see exactly how much bump stop you need. Can't help you with 37" , but that what I did with my 35's. You just going to have to experience the reservoir shocks. There awesome, just tried them out a couple weeks back.
