Default Suspension lift plus Body Lift?

Hi all,

I'm a man of few words so I'll cut right to the chase. Got a 2011 JK 2DR with factory shocks and springs plus a 1.25" body lift. I have 35s and there is no problem with rubbing or anything like that. I want to get some sort of aftermarket lift so I can get better shocks for a smoother ride and better articulation when I go off road. I don't that often, maybe 3-4 times a year. I am looking at this | TeraFlex Suspensions 2.5" kit with shocks from Travelex. It fits my budget and looks like it gives me what I need.

Question: Should I ditch the body lift when I get this or keep it? I attached a couple of pics of my girl if you want to check her out. (at least I think I did)

Being that TF lifts usually yield more lift than described () especially on a 2 door, I'd remove the body lift. Just me IMO

I have a Rc 1.25 BL and TF 2.5 coil lift. Also TF front track bar and 8 Clayton control arms. I got 2.5" of lift front the coils.

I don't see any reason to remove the body lift unless you want to lower it. It doesn't affect any of the suspension components.

Great kit. Had it on my 2 door and put it on my 4 door. Just swap out the shocks for bilsteins. Got mine with the new shocks delivered for $750

Nice looking rig. Did you cut the fenders yourself? I was thinking about doing that but a little nervous. Never done it before.

I'd keep the BL and do the smallest and smoothest coil lift available that is appropriate for the weight of the vehicle.

Sorry I cannot answer your question about the body lift however I have the same kit and like it a lot. I expect you will be happy with it. I would keep the body lift if you can.

It is personal preference, but I am not a fan of huge empty wheel well space.

For 35's, a 2.5" suspension lift and a body lift will look good. Or a 2.5" suspension lift, no body lift, and chopped flares would look good. 2.5" + BL + chopped flares needs 37's filling the empty space.
