We did mine at my dads machine shop. This is first one we ever did. Hopefully it will not be the last. It took about 5 hours.

Teraflex 2.5" Coil Lift installed at home without any help. I read through all of the advice, instructions and threads I could find on this lift. It took me an afternoon with the following morning to complete the lift. I later added a front adjustable track bar to center the front. No issues, appreciate the money saved and knowledge gained.

Rubicon Express 3.5 Superflex kit installed at home by myself. Only help I had is my wife helped on centering the front axle with the adjustable track bar. She was the steering wheel turner. Love the kit and ride.

Teraflex 2.5 spring lift. 8 hours by myself in the garage. Could have shaved off some time if I did not have a TV in the garage, which tends to be distracting...

Help pull out a friends TF 2.5 BB and replace it with a FT short arm. Lots of fun and cutting and drilling. Then put the 2.5 on my JK later. Even more fun. There is nothing like riding around in something that you did. Not paying someone else to do. Pride in your own work.
