I installed my 2.5" tf coil lift by my self in the driveway. In fact with everything that has been done to the jeep was all me and my friends, in the driveway. The only time anyone else has ever touched it was oil changes, and that is just because the first 5 are free at Donavee Jeep.
I think the jeep just feels like it is mine when I am the one who turns all the bolts.
On the other hand, I am going to be going to you to change the gears in my diffs (I am in fullerton too). Hopefully you will still have that special that includes the braces for the Dana 44's. It will be a little while before I have those funds though.

Installed TF 2.5 coil lift with alot of help from a local club's wrench fest, NEJeep.
Only way I see to truely learn how everything works.
I did however have Clayton Off Road install their front upper control arms.
I was short on time, travellling to NY the following weekend, and no local club members were available.
Definitely worth the labor costs though, as this was the final fix with my death wobble issues.

Full Traction SA Ultimate installed in August '07 by me (alone).
Actually, except
for the gears (4.88's) & the DPA it's all my doing
(and it's a BLAST).
Edit: I also didn't do the tire mounting and balance

Pro Comp Stage II lift kit installed by me and a couple friends.
First time installing a coil spring lift kei all my experience is with IFS and leafs... This was easy and no real problems were experienced

dont have one on this one yet,but i"ve installed about ten lift kits at home in my days,both suspension and body and they both go pretty smooth as long as you take your time doing them.and the right tools also help.

2" BB & 1" Body lift installed at home by myself. Soon to be axed in favor of a 3" Coil lift/Full flexarms. I'll be doing that install myself as well, likely alone as before.

I have installed the following at home; a short arm Jk lift, long arm WJ lift, short arm Dodge 2500 lift, dodge 1500 spacer lift, spring over Samurai, but the worst by far was the Chevy 1500 4x4 lift- IFS sucks.
