suspension from a 4door rubicon(2012) to a 2door sahara(2007) help!!
Hi all, sorry for repost but i need help asap since i found a good deal on 4door suspension take offs. so i was wondering if the suspension off of a 2012 4door rubicon will fit my 2007 2door sahara? also the rubcicon has a leveling kit from teraflex. If i install all that will there be any issues since i have a 2door? thanks

I think you'll be fine. If you get much more than 2" lift on the front you might notice your steering is a little flighty but I don't think it'll be bad. Go for it.
You'll probably want longer swaybar links some time.

It depends on what your current spring rate is vs the spring rate on the 4 door.
For example I had 14 / 56 spring set on my 2 door. I installed a leveling kit and swapped in a set of 18 / 59 springs and netted out approx 2 1/2" of lift.

Keep an eye on the angle of your swaybar. You do not want your swaybar with an angle towards the ground (if you are familiar with trig, you don't want it in the fourth quadrant, anywhere between 270and 359 degrees.) Haha. But that can be a serious issue. If you are going to be spending more than a couple hundred dollars total, I would suggest looking into a brand new coil lift.

Spring swap
Probably the only problem you will have is dash warning lights going off that the back 2 doors are ajar Seriously though PM me I've a couple of tips that may be of use, other than that a couple of jack stands, 2 or 3 floor jacks and you will be fine. Take your time and make a morning of it don't be in a hurry. If you search the Forum there's already a write up on this. Cheers

wow thanks guys, the take offs including the leveling kit was for $200..its a really good deal but i think im actually going to save up for the 2.5 coil lift. its really hard to pass on such a good deal but i think its for the best lol. Not that theres something wrong with the set up, id totally grab it but in the future i know id want bigger and dont want to deal with the hassel of swapping out springs/shocks again.
