Default Superwinch Talon 9.5SR installation help

Probably a dumb question, but what order / what location do these washers and nut go. Bolt goes up through the bottom and the nut rests inside the opening in the winch. Do both washers go on the bottom of the winch plate? Does the lock washer go inside the winch with the nut?

Very pissed that the Superwinch doesn't center up on the fairlead using the pre drilled holes in my LOD shorty.

Grrrrrrrrrr. It's always something.

Yep, I had to re-drill my bumper to center my Talon. They are big winches

Thanks Ryan. I guess I'll stop while I'm aggravated and do that tomorrow after work. Any help on the nut/washer order?

Bolt alone on one end. Flat washer then split then nut on the other.

Thanks Keith. It didn't look like any of that but the nut would fit in the slot of the winch bottom though. I'll give it another try tomorrow.

Oh hell...I just figured out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for the head slap. =)

If you do re-drill, make sure you aren't drilling too close to the existing holes. You can tape the template to the bumper and drill some starter holes, then remove it and drill away. The only alyernative on these winches is having the off set mount due to it's width

If you just never get stuck, you won't need to do the install at all!

Thinking of the same winch, so I'm interested in how your install plays out. Thanks for posting about it.

Holes drilled. 10" center to center, 4.5" centers up and down. Pilot holes on bottom were a hair off.

Bolted down fine.

Now I've got to figure out the wiring and install the rope.

Any tips?
