WELL TESTED HER A SMALL PULL ON AN ULTD JK
PULLED WELL NO HESITATION
AND WHEN IT GOT HARDER SHE TOOK IT LIKE A MAN
THE PULL WAS STRAIGHT FOR 10 FEET THEN UP A 45 DEGREE EMBANKMENT FOR ANOTHER 10 FEET THEN ANOTHER 10 FEET
TEMP WAS COOL TO THE TOUCH AND
THE PULL LOOKED LIKE THIS
-MAW-
*************
***************
*****************
*************************CROSSBONES
BUT SHE DID GET VERY WARM WHEN DID DO A LET OUT
MAYBE THE CYCLE WAS TOO LONG

Fairlead
So, it comes with a hawse fairlead I see ...as opposed to the traditional roller fairlead. Is this good or bad given it doesn't come with synthetic rope?
Did the hawse fairlead hold up after a couple of uses...or is it (and your cable) all scratched/banged up now?
I'm debating this winch vs. the Smittybuilt XRC-8.
