How do I do that if there is no software for it? I dont have anything to give info-wise to the wizard......

FYI, To download the software, go to www.superchips.com. Click the my account drop down and then click download software.

I would suggest getting it updated. I got mine yesterday with a manufacture date of 11/11/09 and it has been updating the tune on the thing for the last 10 min, had downloaded like 5 or more files

Try Bootcamp
I had similar issues when trying to update the device from within a VM, granted I didn't do much troubleshooting. However... Bootcamping worked fine.

And, if you setup your vm as a separate partition you can mount the same image/partition. It's really just a boot manager, but if you have a mac using their utility is slick.

IMO, it was a lot more useful when it first came out and the IO on VMs was flaky.
Nowadays, it can still simplify IO issues and run Windows a bit faster (notice I said faster, not fast, just like JK can go faster ), but lot of its value is in slickness like using double shocks.
