Default Superchips throttle response settings missing from tune options?

Ok, I've tried to search a little, but to no avail. I have a '10, ECHO has an 08. Both are 6spds. Both have superchips 3875 installed, his has throttle response settings in one of the menus, with stock, moderate and superchips settings. Mine has no settings in any menu. Is this a glitch? Did I get a bad unit? Anyone else have or not have this option? There have been a couple others with the tune settings in a few other posts, but all were 07's and 08's. Thanks for any input!

I am not positive but I think the settings you are looking for are/were a custom update for people with 6 speeds that were having the jumpy throttles in lower gears. I believe you could send in a request to Superchips and they would send your programmer a custom file which was being tested to see if it fixes the problem.

If that is what it is, the last I heard was that they were still testing the settings and it was with a select bunch of users. I would check with the forum over at Superchips and ask your question there as they will have more up to date info.

The only other thing I can think of but would have no impact to 6 speeds is if your friend purchased the optional shift point adjustment feature. This is only a benefit to us auto owners but I don;t know anyone that has purchased that add on yet so I don;t know what it looks like.

Here is the post about your question. Seems your buddy was able to download a beta prorgam to deal with the throttle issues I mentioned above

Try updating your tuner to see if the throttle response gets added. Not sure if the program will identify your vehicle as a 6 speed and automatically download it or if you have to request it.

Both tuners were bought, updated and installed within 1 week of each other. I drove his with 35's, moderate pedal and tow tune and mine with 33's, tow tune and no pedal settings and his was much more responsive than mine!! same gears same trans, both with k&n drop in filters and exhaust. If anything I wouldve thought mine should be more responsive feeling with less tires and same gearing.

You should contact Superchip.
They have a very useful Forum.

Were both brand new? If so, then contact Superchips as something is wrong.
