i had a superchip tuner in my diesel Excursion and it was junk, shifted like a kicking mule, and even made the tranny squeal once, when that happened i took it off and bought another tuner that had better shifting and power(bullydog)
i personally wouldnt buy it cause of my experience i had with the crappy shifts, and i have an auto JK so dont want to wreck the tranny. Just thought id share that before someone buys it and are not satisfied.

Our 200 HP jk's unfortunately should not have that problem.

I have no issues with my Superchips Flashpaq for my Hemi Dodge Ram 2500. Switch octane ratings, specific tunes and settings quickly and can tell there is an immediate difference even at idle. With tow settings it pulls hard, at premium setting it chirps the tires at the 1-2 shift and with the MilageXS setting I see a 1mpg increase on a 12mpg vehicle running on lower octane than what's prescribed from the factory.
There is a fairly large crowd who have the Superchips Flashpaq installed on Hemi Rams. The people who have shied away are largely those with performance upgrades such as cams and heads, not simple exhaust or intake upgrades that throw a wrench into the Hypertech's Max Energy programmer for the JK. Some of the people with these larger upgrades have switched to the Diablo Predator for customizable tunes but nearly all of them will say that Superchips has the Chrysler PCM way more figured out than Diablo. Hypertech is barely even in the game for that platform.
On the Diesel Ford comments I don't have any personal experience, but Bully Dog has certainly done well with the diesel performance they deliver. The number of TSBs out on the Ford diesel trucks backed me off of purchasing one at work. Just too many issues, heard of more than a few engine and transmission replacements and witnessed a local tow company move from an all Ford fleet to a host of Cummins diesel Dodges. Ford really owned that market space a few years ago, but not so much any more although the problems at GM and Chrysler may not indicate a market failure.
Anyway, not at all concerned with the torque management on the JK as my foot uses the man pedal on the left to control it.
