I bought the superchips programmer, my question is this:
I have an 07'jku Sahara, bought it used and have no clue what gears it has, the programmer said I have 4.10's...do I or how do I tell what gears I have

You can jack up the rear axle and spin the tires and watch the pinion yoke. The yoke should spin about 4 times to the tires doing 1 complete rotation. Their also may be a tag on the rear axle that will say.

I believe that in 07 the 4:10 ratio came with the trailer tow pkg. the programmer will break down vin when you plug it in and i believe that it will set your stock ratio, but it also has option to change ratio if you change gears from factory.

That's what my superchips did was preset at 4.10's. Thanks for the info

I read the same things one several other threads and verified the information by getting the number off the diff cover. My 2007 has a tow package and does have 4:10. Dana 30 front and Dana 44 rear.
