I've had mine for a few months now. After testing out the different tune options, I think the tow tune provides the best power, shifting and gas mileage for the 3.8.

My personal take is that the 91 Performance tune gives it a little more kick between shifts. And for me the MPG's were almost the exact same for both the tow tune and 91 Performance.

I just bought mine yesterday. Adjusted my speedo, and 87 tune....I would like to try the tow tune, in the little manual it says its a 91 tune? but the flashpack doesn't say anything about that?...so far I like it, however, I am having trouble registering my flashpaq on their site, I've tried like 5 times and every time I try to submit all I get is a blank white screen.

I know several people have said the tow tune gives better results but I found the 87 tune to be more beneficial to me. Better mileage and better seat of the pants power running the 87 tune. I did 2 full tanks thru each tune to test. I did not however, run 91 octane with the tow tune, only 87. Maybe that was the culprit. I haven't tried the 91 or 93 yet. Completely happy with the 87 though

I installed mine today and it works great!!! But I was wondering about changing the gear ratio. Does it actually work??? And if so can you tell the difference???

I've had my Flashpaq for almost 2 months now and love it. I've run the eco tune (a tank), 87 tune (2 tanks), and 93 tune (one tank so far). I haven't tried the tow tune yet thats next.

The eco tune is probably the worst tune of all, pretty useless for being a "better gas mileage" tune. The 87 tune is a noticeable difference. But for the $3 or $4 difference for 93 octane is well worth the few extra bucks.

The throttle response and gas mileage has been better for me with the 93 than any other. I only adjusted the tire size, gear ratio, speedo and fan temp. Left everything else as the Flashpaq had it set.

Well money spent in my opinion.

I've had mine for nearly a week now and love it. I am running the 87 tune with my 6 speed. It doesn't make much of a seat of pants difference in 1st or 2nd, but just watch the speedo climb. It pulls hard in 3rd and 4th. 5th and 6th you dont feel anything but watch that speedo climb.

Not planning on running 91 or 93 or tow tune. I don't need it. And I don't want to spend more money on gas. And worried about pinging with those tunes sine I am deaf.

Superchips + 33s on 6spd is faster than stock on stock 6speed and 32s!

Anyone else try the 91 performacne tune and feel almost like it would keep the trans in a lower gear to long? Made my stop and go driving "jerky".

Mine had the same issue. 87 was good, but pinged up large hills. 91 had terrible in traffic shift points, and I haven't tried 93. The tow tune has worked the best, and is even better now that winter blend gas is gone. Mine's an auto, with 33's, and 4.88 gears.
