Did you see the thread with the guy who converted a basketball hoop into a winch to remove and hold his JKU hard top. Now THAT is an awesome idea!

I've wanted to make a lexan top that would replace the freedom tops. Thought it would be great in the winter to have a clear roof but still keep rain and snow out. I priced out some material at work but never did get around to ordering it.
Well...I ran across this the other day. Not the same but very close.
You could use the rear with the freedom tops.
