OP- if your rig will only see dirt going to the lodge in winter you do not need coil springs. Save $$$ by buying just 2" puck spacers budget lift. About $200 and you can run non flexing 35's. Your mainly on concrete, NEVER going off-road as you said. Others will try to convince you to spend thousands with long arms and coil overs. It's not their money.
Going coils will just be over building your rig for what you do. By going 3" and above you will need more parts: front track bar relocation bracket or adjustable bar; front sway bars; brake lines; drive shafts; front lower and rear upper control arms. And you may not like how different the rig will feel. Going big does look nice, but to do it right it costs. And if it's not used , it's not money well spent.
Don't forget to budget the rear bumper / tire carrier for the 35" spare. About $500~$1500.
Just trying to be reasonable, and it's only an opinion. Keep this equation in mind: $200 < $3000 for a not used visual and ego only lift. Even if you do go big, there will always be bigger.

No one suggested long arms or coilovers. Just a basic coil lift that will make his jeep ride softer and give him the look he wants.
You don't need adjustable trackbars or rear control arms for that matter on a 3" lift.
I run coilovers with factory trackbars, factory rear control arms. He can even get away with factory driveshafts

OP originally wanted 4" lift and 37's and possibly more for a pavement pounder. Just trying to save money. And we know that enthusiastic future posts will eventually suggest dream builds. Just a matter of time. Remember, this rig will not go off-road per his/ her intent.

Thanks to all the input and info from everybody who responded to my thread on JK-FORUM - "35's or 37's ...."
I've decided to rock with the 35's on 20x10.0 -44 offset wheels.
Now the next issue is what lift should I equip my new 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited with ..
Again it will not see much if any offroad action, it's mainly to cruise around town, hit the beach, and maybe snowboarding in the winter.
I'm looking at a 3-3.5" lift ... What does everybody here suggest?
Thank you guys in advance for your input and information!!

Realistically you can get a better life than what I'm about to suggest and sometimes I wish I did more research and got an EVO instead of this BUT that being said... You're not offloading much.
In my opinion this kit is perfect for a daily drive looking for a smooth ride and wheeling occasionally. This lift rides great and I've never had one problem. Yes I wish it came with adjustable control arm,s instead of the brackets but that's because I wheel harder than you're saying you will
In my opinion you'll really like the AEV 3.5" north degree kit for a daily drive

Appreciate the info - thank you
My intention is NOT to go offroading with my JK, it's for looks and will be mainly used for "pavement pounding" to the beach and snowboarding in the winter
I wanted a 3" lift but it looks like to do it correctly I'll have to get a ton of additional parts and modifications which will cost me a small fortune
2" lift is not an option so after doing some research and making some calls I'm considering going with the TeraFlex #1251000 budget 2.5" lift kit w/ shocks
Attachment 470002
A rep I talked to yesterday even suggested the TeraFlex 2.5 lift kit w/o shocks and ordering a set of Bilstein shocks to match for ride comfort ....
I'm also really concerned about steering wheel jutter or shaking so apparently with the 2.5" I shouldn't really get any of that.
What is everybody's thoughts on this?

Actually made up my mind to rock with 35" tires w/ 20x10 wheels but I'm not sure where the 4" lift came from ..
What I originally had in mind was either a 3 or 3.5" lift kit - I think 4" lift for what I have in mind for my Jeep is overkilll IMO
