Default Stubby Question

I'm looking to trim my front bumper and I am likely going to go with the VDP version, but I really like the look of the red 2 door rubicon that is at the top of the jk-forum page. Anyone know how that bumper was made? It looks stock with some plastic molded to the bumper sides that were cut off.

looks like he just filled the ends he lopped off with foam and painted or plastic welded covers on.

I used the rough country end caps and like them.

Here is mine. Doesn't look bad I think. But yes some people plastic weld some of the other cutoff plastic to close it in.

I wish! In sunny metro Detroit. I just checked those end caps out, do they fit on a stock bumper?

Actually. They are Rough Country end caps. Steel. Easy install. Cheap stubby option.

I did this but just left the ends open. Doesn't look that bad actually.
