Default Stubby mod to factory bumper

Wanting to do this this week and was looking at the RC end caps. Any way to do it with the ends I'm cutting off to get it a little atubbbier than those do but keep it clean as well?

I have seen a few guys be pretty successful but I could not make them look good so I went with the RC end caps and have been going strong for over two years and lots of off roading.

I cut my ends of and hollowed them out then screw them on threw the back side.. I think it looked cleaner than the caps they sell

I made mine flat on the end using pieces of the ends I cut off. Used JB plastic weld to finish the seams and then painted with rustoleum bedliner.

Cut down and then took part of the stuff that was cut off and made new caps.

You know, so far all of those home done stubby ends you guys posted look a heck of a lot better that those ugly ends you can buy.

I prefer these homemade stubby bumpers over the caps as well. I might give it a shot.
