Stubby bumpers...any downsides?

Im confused about the hostile attitude man. The Original post was a question asking about possible downsides to using a stubby bumper. I plainly stated a downside i experience then related how it happens and now have even compared it to your setup which you stated doesnt experience the same issue so I would say that is pretty good information for someone if they were interested on two very slightly different setups with a somewhat different result. How is it a bad thing to share your own personal information and experience with others in an open format. That is kind of the whole purpose of the forum.

Currently running an Ace stubby for a year and a half, no windshield issues with many off road miles. Live in Washington state lots of wet muddy trails and forest service roads.
