Need some help........I get a strange clunk (not all the time), but occasionally when I'm at low speeds (like 25mph) and then accelerate hard (well as hard as a 3.8 will allow...lol) and get this noticeable clunk. At first I thought it was my front driveshaft, but I recently replaced it with a Tom Woods shaft, and the same clunk is there. Any thoughts?

Also, a separate issue........at low RPM's (1000 for example).....I get this weird vibration that feels like I'm going over a rumble strip........it's only there if I am on the gas pedal.....as soon as I let off or speed up to higher RPM's it goes away.

Could the 2 issues be related? Maybe some chipped teeth in my gears???

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your pinion angle is off and possible bad u joint

i've recently added lower front adjustable control arms and had the pinion angle corrected, and the u-joints are all brand new with the new front driveshaft, so I don't think those are the issues.

Was the issue there before the new control arms and pinion angle adjustment? What's your pinion set at now?
