It's not a matter of being cheap or doing what makes me happy - It's about safety. If putting a 12.5" tire on the 7.5" stock wheel is unsafe for ON or OFF road use, than I don't want to do it.

pick up some cragar soft 8's they are cheap and look good

I usually air down to 10 -15 psi with my stock rims and everything has been ok!!!

Not my cup of tea. I like the stock Rubicon wheels or the Hulk wheels off the Commander.
