Default Stock Wheels + KM2's?

will a set of 35x12.50 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain Tires fit onto my stock 16" X wheels? i'm saving up some money to indulge in my next mod and the tires themselves are expensive, what about the wheels?

They will fit, but you will have some rubbing issues against your sway bars and airdam. I had to change my rims due to this issue

The rubbing has to do with the width of the tires. You would need either spacers or wheels with less back spacing to push the wheels away from the center of the axle some.

I have 35x12.50 KM2's on my stock 17's. I needed 1.5" spidertrax spacers.

putting a wide tire on a skinny rim will come unbeaded easier if you plan on doing any wheelin especially if you plan on airing down any

Most of the 35s I've seen recommend 8-10 inch wide wheels. The stock is 7.5, isn't that too small?

it's not the 35"

it's the 12.5" width thats the problem, when you pinch the tire in it makes it want to pop off the rim when subjected to pressure.

Don't be cheap...set it up properly or leave it alone for now

better yet buy a used set off the forum, there are always guys selling at 50% off retail

i have heard the opposite, the norrow wheels will hold the tire on better when aired down.
