Stock wheels and 35s
Will a tire store install a 35x12.5 on a stock rim?
How do you guys go about getting them to put them on spacers? Will they do that?

They probably won't unless they don't mind bending the rules. Each manufacturer has a set rim width they want for their tires but not all tire stores follow the rules. The same goes for wheel spacers- some stores will do them, others won't.
Good example- I got 10.5" wide tires put on 10" wide wheels at the dealership. The recommended rim width for the tires is 7-9"

You might try a custom or off road shop. I'm running 35x12.50x18's on stock sahara wheels and 1.5" spidertrax spacers with zero problems. Always check torque on bolts at every rotation and you should be fine.

My local shop Goodyear tire store had me install and torque my spacers on my Jeep before
I drove it in and they took off my stock tires off the stock rims and installed my 35x12.5x17 on my stock rubicon rims

I just drove in w/ the spacers on and the tires in the back and had the local shop swap the tires. Most likely the spare will not fit the stock carrier w/o a spacer... mine didn't.

Or, (think someone stated this above) have the dealership mount the 35's, drive home, take off your rims and mount the spacers yourself.. The tires will already be balanced and will only take you about 20-30 min... Most of us have put our own spacers on...

Yes I know about the spacers
My main question was weather or not a larger tire company will mount the tires even if its not supposed to be on a wheel that narrow.
