Default Stock Tires and Rims w 2.5 Inch Lift and Wheel Spacers

Will my 08 Unlimited Rubicon look ridiculous with a 2.5 inch teraflex BB and SpiderTrax 1.5" wheel spacers with the stock tires and rims?

I'm about to drop a grand or so on various upgrades including some recovery gear and hopefully this lift and spacers, but I don't want to do something that doesn't look good. New wheels and tires are not in the budget yet and I'm pretty pleased with the off road performance of my stock setup so far anyway.

Thoughts?

I've heard that the setup you are talking about is the way to go. I'm also looking at doing the exact some thing, but think that I'm going to go the OME spring lift. I did springs on previous jeeps and i liked the performance.

I just saw a guy in Moab with the terra 2.5" lift and his rubi could get over stuff that mine couldn't. We both have Rubi four doors all stock, except his is two inches taller. It's funny how two inches helps so much.

Other people who have gone this way may want to chime in.

Do a search and you'll find plenty of pics...there must be at least 10 threads on this very question with lots of pics included.

Here are just a few ...

I ran this setup for awhile and thought it looked fine ... http://my.project-jk.com/showphoto.php?photo=19599

Perfect thanks

I've also heard various opinions on what does and doesn't void the powertrain warranties wrt suspension/body lifts. Are there any definitive answers for this?
