Default Stock spring lift question.

Hi all. I have the opportunity to purchase stock springs and shocks from a JKU Sport for my 2dr Sport. I read previously that this is a cheap way to get a little lift put of my 2dr. Is this true? Please help!

in spite of what some will tell you, no. at best, a set of 4-door rubicon coils may give you a tiny tiny boost but, not a sport or, at least, not enough to be worth it. if you're determined to do this anyway, save your money as most people just throw theirs away and i'm sure you could pick up a set for free.

Thanks! It was $100 for the set so it didn't seem like a bad deal but my husband would be pretty annoyed to do the whole swap out if I didn't at least get an inch or two.

honestly, i would look into spending a bit more cash and getting something like a teraflex 2.5" budget boost. this will give you what you're looking for and, is the better way to go.

That was the original plan until I started being really cheap. Plan reinstated. Thanks again.
