Default Steering Stabilizer Rubbing?

Was under the JK just now checking on everything and saw that my stabilzer is rubbing on one of the bolts hoding it. Looks like it's almost gone completely through.. Is this because it's not the stock stabilizer? Will this just happen again if I replace it? Is there a good one to go with that won't do this? Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic...

Mine's doing the same thing. Was playing with it last night, spinning it around. It hits at full lock on both sides in about every position. One way, on the bolts your does, the other way on the new TF track bar adjusting bolts. We even flipped those bolts around so the long side is the other way. Still makes contact. Keep playing with it. I'll just live with it.

Part of my problem is my tie rod is bent slightly upward reducing the already limited clearance there.

Changed it out with a Rancho.. much smaller than what was there.. More like stock size.. We'll see if it does the same thing... Got it for $40 at Advance Auto.

I had a BDS SS and had the same problem. Just installed a TeraFlex and it works really well so far, it actually mounts opposite of the other stabilizer.

OK I would install that so the body end is on the other end. That will give you more clearance.

noticed this this weekend. so it seems the solution for this is a new skinny stabilizer?
